Do you have experience with various skin tones and textures?Yes! One of my favourite parts about attending Blanche Macdonald Centre was having the opportunity to work on different skin tones, skin types and face shapes. I carry a wide variety of foundations in my kit including different shades and types of product finishes (dewy, matte, satin) to accommodate all skins.
-

-
What forms of payment do you accept?I accept cash, e-transfers, debit, apple pay, and all major credit cards.

-
Where are you located?I currently work out of a space in River Heights and offer mobile services when my schedule allows.
-
How can I book an appointment? You can inquire about booking an appointment by filling out the booking inquiry form
-
How should I prepare for my makeup appointment? All of my brides receive an email with prep suggestions leading up to the wedding once the contract is signed and the retainer is received. For regular makeup applications, please come with clean skin and your regular skincare routine. I will prep the skin either way but it saves us time if you are makeup free to begin with. I also suggest doing a light exfoliating treatment and using a good moisturizer the night before your appointment. If you have inspo photos to work off of, that's great!
-
How long does a makeup application take?I like to book my full face makeup applications for 60 minutes and Wedding Preview Appointments for 60-90 minutes. This gives us time to chat about the look you want to achieve. For wedding parties, I like to be as efficient as possible so I keep the chatting to a minimum which means applications are normally closer to 45 minutes for the wedding party and 50 minutes for the bride.
-
Do I need to get false lashes? You can opt out of adding false lashes to your makeup look but this does not affect the price of your makeup as they are complimentary.
-
Can I just have my eye makeup done?I do not offer only eye makeup. I offer Full Face Makeup or Minimal Makeup. Minimal Makeup includes skincare, concealing and brightening, this does not include eye makeup and is truly a no-makeup look.
-
Do you cover tattoos?Yes! Please contact me for a quote on tattoo coverage.
-
Do I need to book a Wedding Preview?Wedding Previews help the client and artist get a feel for each other's personalities as well as ensure a more seamless and timely application on the day of the wedding. I highly recommend booking a Wedding Preview, which is why it's included in The Wedding Package and The Luxe Wedding Package. One preview is included with both Packages, any additional Previews are an additional cost. If you would like to book a Preview before committing to The Wedding Package or The Luxe Wedding Package, a fee of $150 will be due at the time of the trial. If you decide to move forward with the wedding booking, the fee will be subtracted from your invoice.
-
How should I prepare for my Preview? Before your Preview, I will send over a form. Please take the time to fill out the form, as this will allow us to make the most of your Preview Appointment. Please have inspo photos of makeup looks (I suggest looking at Instagram as opposed to Pinterest). It also helps me to see photos of your dress and wedding colours.
-
When should I book my Wedding Preview?I recommend scheduling your Preview Appointment 2-3 months before your wedding day. This is when we finalize your look for your big day, and if you book it too early, you might change your mind as trends change. Avoid using your Preview for other wedding-related events (showers, photoshoots, parties, etc). If your Preview falls on the same day as another event, keep in mind that our focus is on planning your Wedding Day look, which may differ from the look you want for that event. If you’re looking for more makeup sessions, I suggest The Luxe Wedding Package.
-
How should I prep prior to my wedding makeup appointment?I provide all of my brides with a detailed email on how to prep their skin leading up to the wedding. On the morning of the wedding, I suggest that the bride and wedding party wear shirts that button/zip/tie at the front to ensure the makeup is not ruined when changing into wedding outfits.
-
How far out should I book?I still have some availability for fall 2024 and am booking into 2025. For long weekend weddings, please inquire at least 6-12 months prior, the sooner the better. For regular weekends, please inquire at least 4-6 months prior. I can sometimes accommodate parties on short notice, so please fill out the booking inquiry or contact me.
-
Do you offer off-season rates?I do not offer lower rates for weekday, Sunday or "off-season" weddings. Any bookings (wedding or normal) on holidays or long-weekends are subject to an additional fee. Please see my Terms & Conditions for more details.
-
Do you do bridal hair?I specialize in makeup at this time. However, I can provide you with a list of experienced, talented hairstylists whom I have worked with in the past.
-
Do you travel outside of Manitoba?Yes! If you are getting married out of Mantioba, I will happily be a part of your big day! I am available to travel across Canada and internationally. Please fill out the inquiry form for more details.
-
How do you ensure your kit is sanitary?I take the cleanliness and sanitation of my kit very seriously. My products, tools and hands are sanitized between each client. I use disposable mascara wands and lips wands that are used only once and never double-dipped into products. Lip liners and eyeliners are sprayed with 70% alcohol and sharpened after each use. I decant all of my cream and liquid products onto a palette, which is sanitized between each client. Powder products (blushes, setting powders, eyeshadows, etc) are sprayed with Beauty So Clean and 70% alcohol between applications as well.
-
What products do you use?I use a variety of products in my kit but I gravitate towards MAC, Makeup by Mario, Nude Stix, Rare Beauty, Danessa Myricks Beauty, Laura Mercier, Makeup Forever, Nars, NYX, and iS Clinical. If you have an allergy or concern about a product, please contact me prior to your appointment to discuss options!
-
Can I bring my own makeup for you to apply? In most cases, I prefer to use makeup from my kit as I know how the different products work together and I am certain that nothing is expired. I cannot guarantee the longevity of makeup looks created with makeup outside of my own kit. If you have known allergies and can only use certain makeup products, please feel free to bring your products but this will not affect the price of the makeup service. If you have any other concerns relating to allergies or sensitivities, please feel free to contact me!
-
Do you provide mobile services for non-wedding bookings?I provide mobile services for non-wedding-related bookings if my schedule allows it. I require a non-refundable retainer for these services, which is subtracted from the balance due at the time of the appointment.
-
Do you charge a travel fee?All mobile appointments are subject to a travel fee and will be communicated at the time of booking.
-
How should I prepare the location for your arrival?I like to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to our scheduled start time to have time to set up. Please have a large, flat surface cleared for my kit set up upon my arrival (a kitchen/dining room table or island are perfect), somewhere with natural light is ideal but I will also bring a light if needed. Please let me know if there is a high chair/barstool available on location - if there is not, I will bring my own. Please Note: basements, porches/sunrooms, and bathrooms are not the ideal location for getting ready.
-
I don't need a Mobile Artist, can I come to you?Of course! Please contact me to arrange the details.
-
Artistry by Isabelle's right to withdrawal. In the unlikely event of a family emergency, illness or force majeure, I may cancel the services. If such a case arises, I will do my best to connect you with a trusted artist.

Service Location & RequirementsFor mobile services, there are certain requirements that must be met to complete the services. A set-up table/work area/power outlet must be available as well as a well-lit area (natural light is preferred). If a barstool height chair is not available, I will bring my own. I will arrive 10-15 minutes ahead to set up. Please communicate the hotel room number by email or text, if applicable.
-

LiabilityI take sanitation extremely seriously. All products and tools are sanitized between each makeup application. Any skin condition (eczema, psoriasis, broken skin, etc) must be reported before application. Due to sanitary reasons, a client with a contagious skin condition (impetigo, thrush, staph infection, cold sores, pink eye, etc) cannot receive a makeup application. This is for the safety of my other clients and the integrity of my kit. If you have a known allergy or sensitivity, it is your duty to make it known. The client agrees to release the artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions. Due to this clause, I will not tweeze or razor any facial hair or eyebrows.
